In an emotional message to family and friends, Jeff’s wife, Mary Anne, shared the heartbreaking news of his passing on Friday, November 10. Surrounded by an outpouring of love and reassurances of safety, Jeff transitioned peacefully. The family is navigating this surreal and unsteady time, oscillating between tears and laughter as they cherish the memories of a beloved husband and father. Mary Anne expressed profound gratitude to the compassionate and sensitive medical staff at the hospital. Their dedication to getting to know Jeff through shared stories, photos, and extended stays in his room turned them into “angels in disguise.”
In lieu of an immediate gathering, the family is in the early stages of planning an art- and music-based celebration to honor Jeff’s creative essence.
