Judith Lindstrom Obituary, Death – Judith Ann Lindstrom, 85, a former resident of Maple Shade, NJ, passed away peacefully in Moorestown on December 15, 2023, after a prolonged illness. Born in Pottsville, PA, on March 24, 1938, to John (Vince) and Frances Coleman, she married Robert Lindstrom in 1956, and the couple raised three children in Maple Shade.
Judie was a multi-talented individual, excelling as a seamstress and crafter. An avid reader, she enjoyed competitive games like Scrabble, Canasta, and Mexican Train. She was an active member of the Red Hats and a devoted Outlander fan. Traveling was one of her passions, particularly to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where the family had a summer home.
Preceded in death by daughter Melanie McGarvey, brother Joel Coleman, grandson Erik Lindstrom, parents John and Frances Coleman, and husband Bob, Judie is survived by two children, Lori Knickerbocker (Bryan) and Dean Lindstrom (Lisa); son-in-law Kevin McGarvey; grandchildren, Kevin Knickerbocker (Sarah), Courtney Knickerbocker (Alex), Trevor Knickerbocker (Becky), Conor McGarvey, Casey McGarvey (DJ), Karson Lindstrom (Katy), Drake Lindstrom (Emma), and Allison McGarvey; and great-grandchildren, Ayden, Juliyen, Madelyne, Nikolai, Kalliope, and Shane.
The family expresses gratitude to The Evergreens Continuing Care Retirement Community for their excellent and compassionate care during Judie’s last years. A memorial visitation and service are scheduled for Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Mark C. Tilghman Funeral Home, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade, NJ. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. The family invites friends and well-wishers to join in remembrance of Judie’s life and legacy.
